Ariel Stofenmacher is an Argentine rabbi born on May 5, 1963, in Buenos Aires. He currently serves as the rector and executive president of the Marshall T. Meyer Latin American Rabbinical Seminary, a key institution for Jewish leadership training in Ibero-America. Since 2019, he has been part of the Committee of Jewish Laws and Standards of the Rabbinical Assembly. Stofenmacher is also the editor of the academic journal Majshavot and teaches rabbinic literature and Jewish studies at the University of Palermo and the University of Salvador. He is an advocate for interreligious dialogue.
