Ariën van Weesenbeek is a Dutch drummer born on May 17, 1980, in Waalwijk, Netherlands. He has been a member of the band Epica since 2007 and is also a part of MaYaN. He founded the band Pandaemonium at the age of fifteen and has played with several other groups, including Downslide and Conspiracy. In 2003, he joined the metal band God Dethroned and recorded drum parts for Epica's album 'The Divine Conspiracy' in 2007, after which he officially became a member of Epica.
