Arif Gaziyev was a renowned sculptor from Azerbaijan, born on January 2, 1937, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR. He was the son of famous sculptor Shamil Gaziyev and contributed significantly to the arts. Gaziyev was recognized as a Distinguished Art Worker of Azerbaijan and earned the title of People's Artist of Azerbaijan in 2018. He was also a lecturer at the Baku Academy of Art, shaping future generations of artists until his passing on September 3, 2021, in Baku, Azerbaijan.
