After that, he won another competition called 10 Ke 10 Le Gaye Dil. He has gained immense popularity for his song 'Tum Hi Ho' from the film Aashiqui 2 released in 2013, which earned him the Best Male Playback Singer award at the 59th Filmfare Awards in 2014, along with two other nominations at the 60th Filmfare Awards.
