Arin Ilejay, born Richard Arin Ilejay on February 17, 1988, is a former American hard rock drummer best known for his work with Avenged Sevenfold. He initially joined the band in 2011 as a fill-in for Mike Portnoy, who was temporarily substituting for the late James Sullivan. Ilejay officially became a member of the band in 2013 but had his tenure end with an announcement on July 23, 2015. Prior to his time in Avenged Sevenfold, he played in the metalcore band Confide.
