Armando Cabo was an Argentine labor leader born in Puerto Padre, Cuba, on December 27, 1915, and he passed away in Morón, Buenos Aires, on June 4, 1996. He was a prominent figure in the Unión Obrera Metalúrgica (UOM) and was closely associated with Eva Perón. Cabo was part of the leadership quadrumvirate of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) during the early Peronist period, alongside José Espejo, Isaías Santín, and Florencio Soto. He was also the father of Dardo Cabo, a journalist and peronist militant involved with the Condor Operation.
