Armen Savayan was an Armenian painter, born on January 2, 1946, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He became a member of the Union of Artists of Armenia in 1979 and joined the International Association of Artists (UNESCO) in 1997. Savayan was the son of the prominent artist Ephrem Savayan and the brother of the ceramicist Anahit Savayan. He passed away on March 19, 2021, in Yerevan, Armenia, leaving behind a significant legacy in the Armenian art community.
