Armen Tutunjyan, also known as Chiko, was an Armenian jazz musician born on January 28, 1944, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR, USSR. He served as the artistic director of the jazz group 'Chiko and Friends' and was an accomplished drummer and television presenter. He was recognized as a distinguished figure in the arts of the Republic of Armenia and contributed to the establishment of academic education in percussion instruments in Armenia. He passed away on June 8, 2017.
