Armenak Begyan was a Soviet lawyer and doctor of legal sciences, born on December 26, 1910, in Paraka and passed away in August 2001 in Yerevan, Armenia. He was an active member of the Communist Party since 1930. After graduating from the Soviet University of Construction and Law in 1934 and the Red Professorship Institute in 1938, he became the head of a department at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR in 1959. He authored numerous scientific works related to state administrative law and Soviet construction.
