Armenak Gevorgi Nazarov (April 1, 1908 - June 11, 1983) was an Armenian seismologist and professor. He was born in Paris, France, but his professional life was largely based in Yerevan, Soviet Armenia. He became a member of the Armenian Academy of Sciences in 1960, having been an associate member since 1945. Nazarov was recognized for his contributions to science as a distinguished figure in the Armenian SSR in 1958. His research and teaching significantly advanced the field of seismology in the region.
