Armin Scheiderbauer (January 13, 1924 – March 26, 2005) was an Austrian memoirist and a World War II veteran. The son of an evangelical pastor, he served as a lieutenant in the 252nd Infantry Division on the Eastern Front from 1942 to 1945, participating in several significant battles and being wounded six times. After the war, he returned to Austria, obtained a legal education, and became a lawyer, eventually reaching high positions in the Supreme Court of Vienna. He published his memoirs detailing his wartime experiences, which were translated into multiple languages.
