Arnaldo Samaniego González is a Paraguayan economist and politician born on February 7, 1970, in Asunción. He has been a national senator since 2023, representing the Colorado Party. Previously, he served as a national deputy twice, from 2008 to 2010 and again from 2018 to 2023. He was also the mayor of Asunción from 2010 to 2015. He is the brother of fellow senator Lilian Samaniego.
