Arnauld Nicogossian is an American scientist in space medicine, holding an M.D. and serving as a distinguished research professor and director of the Center for International Medical Policy and Practice at George Mason University. He is a foreign member of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and a full member of the International Academy of Astronautics. Nicogossian has held key roles at NASA, including deputy administrator for the Office of Life and Microgravity Sciences and chief medical officer for the Apollo-Soyuz mission, influencing human spaceflight research for over 30 years.
