Arnold Torpel was an Estonian boxer and later a cultural and sports figure in the Estonian diaspora. Born in Tallinn on October 22, 1920, he was a two-time Estonian champion, winning titles in flyweight and bantamweight categories in 1938 and 1939. After facing challenges during WWII, he emigrated to Sweden and later Canada, engaging in cultural activities, including acting and founding sports clubs. He passed away on August 2, 1995, in California.
