Arpik Vardapetyan was an Armenian translator born on November 12, 1912, in Ninozminda, Akhalkalaki District, Tiflis Province, Russian Empire. She became a member of the USSR Writers' Union in 1958 and joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in 1945. Vardapetyan contributed significantly to Armenian literature through her translations and was active in the literary community until her death on November 27, 1994, in Yerevan, Armenia.
