Artak (Ernest) Sureni Voskanyan was an Armenian poet and translator, born on April 30, 1938, in Ghzlkilisi, Qvemo Kartli, Georgia. He became a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR in 1969. Voskanyan contributed significantly to Armenian literature through his poetry and translation work. His impact on the literary community is recognized as he helped bridge cultural gaps through his translations. He passed away on August 14, 2019. His works continue to resonate within Armenian literature and inspire new generations of writers.
