Artashes Hovsepyan (June 22, 1931 - July 6, 2017) was a renowned sculptor and a People's Artist of Armenia. He was born in Sarnakunk, Sisian region, in the Armenian SSR, USSR. Hovsepyan is noted for his artistic contributions and was recognized as a distinguished artist in both Armenia and Russia, with his accolades received in 1983 and 2005 respectively. He was also the brother of Zakhar Khachatryan, another eminent figure in the Armenian art scene.
