Artashes Poghosyan was an Armenian poet and translator, born on May 27, 1922, in Khztaberd, Martuni District, Azerbaijan SSR. He became a member of the Soviet Union Writers' Union in 1954 and is known for his contributions to Armenian literature. He passed away on December 2, 1997, in Yerevan, Armenia.
