Arthur Josef Feichter is an Italian politician from South Tyrol, born on August 12, 1943, in Taisten. He has been active in the South Tyrolean Farmers' Association since the 1960s, serving as its regional chairman from 1987 to 1996 and later as vice-chairman. Feichter held the position of vice-mayor from 1969 to 1980 and then mayor from 1980 to 1988 in his hometown of Welsberg-Taisten. In 1988, he was elected to the regional parliament and served until 2003 representing the South Tyrolean People's Party.
