Arthur Victor Sellwood was a British journalist and author known for his work in twentieth century naval history. He adapted the memories of World War II naval officers into accessible history books and co-authored notable works such as the story of the German merchant raider Atlantis and accounts of the submarines U-234 and H.M.S. Electra. Sellwood collaborated with his wife Mary on several literary projects, including non-fiction works and the novelization of MGM's film Children of the Damned. His last book, The Victorian Railway Murders, was published posthumously in 1979.
