Artur Johansen is a Faroese politician and accountant from Strendur, born on July 1, 1970. He has served as the mayor of Sjóvar municipality since 2009 and was a member of the municipal council from 2001 to 2004. He is affiliated with the Social Democratic Party, but local elections are non-partisan. Johansen holds a diploma in accounting and has worked as an office clerk and later as an auditor at SPEKT in Tórshavn. He is the son of former union and parliamentary member Karl Robert Johansen.
