He began his military service in the 1st Infantry Regiment, where he advanced through the ranks after completing important military courses. He later joined the border guard, rising to the position of cordon chief. His life ended tragically when he was killed by Soviet border guards under suspicious circumstances, leading to controversy regarding the events surrounding his death.
