Arturs Eižens Zalsters (February 2, 1922 - March 3, 2008) was an engineer specializing in the design of non-standard equipment, an ancient boat researcher and designer, a maritime history researcher, and a researcher in the history of chemistry and chemical technology. Additionally, he was a hydrology researcher, painter, and watercolorist. In 2006, he was elected an honorary member of the Latvian Society for the History of Sciences.
