She was the wife of Mom Rajawongse Kalyanakit Kitiyakara and the sister-in-law of Queen Sirikit of Thailand. Arun obtained her education in Business Administration and Accounting from Chulalongkorn University and later became a teacher at the Demonstration School of Srinakharinwirot University. She received royal decorations and had two children: M.L. Phlai Chumphon and M.L. Sirina.
