Arun Kumar Bose (March 24, 1933 - December 4, 2016) was a prominent Rabindranath Tagore researcher, popular professor, poet, lyricist, and children's writer. He received the Nazarul Award from the West Bengal government for his biography of Kazi Nazrul Islam titled 'Nazrul-Jibani.' He composed timeless Bengali songs under the pseudonym Bhaskar Basu.
