Arve Jørgensen, born April 16, 1978, in Klæbu, is a former Norwegian gymnast who represented Trondhjems Turnforening. He won the overall NM gold in 2006, ending Espen Jansens' five-year winning streak, where Jørgensen had secured five consecutive silver medals. Alongside his gymnastics career, he is a trained physician and has worked at Stavanger University Hospital since August 2007. He has also applied to become ESA's next astronaut and seeks a PhD in space medicine at the University of Texas.
