Arve Rosvold Alver is a Norwegian judge born on June 8, 1951, in Stjørdal. He graduated in law from the University of Oslo in 1976 and served as a judge's assistant and later as a private practicing lawyer. In 1985, he became the head of the legal department at Forretningsbanken, and in 1989, he joined Advokatfirmaet Vaagland & Co. He obtained the right to appear before the Supreme Court in 1994 and served as a judge in the Frostating Court of Appeal from 2000 to 2020. He was active in local politics and youth organizations.
