He, alongside his elder brother Mahendra, claims to be the 76th custodian of the House of Mewar, historically linked to the Maharanas of Udaipur, who act as custodians for the kingdom in honor of Lord Shiva. Arvind is the second son of Bhagwat Singh Mewar.
