Arvo Tarmula (May 11, 1937 – August 15, 2021) was an Estonian press photographer known for his invaluable collection of photographs that document significant events over the last few decades. He graduated from Pärnu Lydia Koidula Secondary School in 1956 and lived in Haapsalu from 1970. Tarmula worked as a photographer for the newspaper Lääne Elu from 1989 until his death. He was also a member of the Haapsalu Photography Club and the Estonian Photographic Art Society.
