He began his collegiate career at Grand Valley State University before transferring to Chattahoochee Technical College, where he excelled in rebounding and shot-blocking. He later played at Auburn University. After not being drafted in the 2014 NBA Draft, he was selected in the D-League Draft by the Maine Red Claws and has since played in various leagues, including the NBL Canada.
