Asbjørn Magne Gjengedal, born April 18, 1940, in Hyen, Norway, is a Norwegian priest and author. He studied theology and worked as a field priest in Bardu in 1967, later serving as a resident chaplain in Breim and pastor in Gloppen kommune. He became the general secretary for Norway's Christian Youth Federation in 1982. From 1987 to 1996, he served as pastor in Ålesund. Gjengedal researched and published a biography on Abraham Vereide in 2001, who was influential in the Methodist Church in the USA.
