He currently serves as the Chairman of the Strategic Information and Policy Council of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN). Previously, he was the Deputy III for Counterintelligence at BIN. He held the position of Director of General Affairs at the Army Education and Training Command for a brief period in 2016. Asep is a graduate of the Military Academy in 1986, specializing in the infantry, particularly Kopassus.
