Ashleigh McIvor is a former Canadian skier specializing in skicross. Born on September 15, 1983, in Vancouver, she won the World Championship in freestyle skiing in 2009 and secured a silver medal at the 2010 X Games. During the inaugural skicross event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, she captured the gold medal. After suffering a torn ACL in 2011, she retired from professional skiing the following year. McIvor has since worked as a model and sports commentator.
