Makhdoomzada Syed Asad Murtaza Gilani (19 February 1968 – 24 September 2015) was a Pakistani politician and member of the National Assembly from Multan. He was elected in the 2002 general elections representing the Pakistan Peoples Party. He was the nephew of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani. Tragically, he died in the 2015 Mina disaster, a catastrophic event that led to the deaths of over 2,262 individuals.
