Assi Koivisto-Allonen, born on May 20, 1957, in Turku, is the daughter of former Finnish President Mauno Koivisto and Tellervo Koivisto. A trained economist, she served as CEO of Access Partners Oy. Assi has been married twice, first to businessman Jari Komulainen and presently to engineer Heikki Allonen. While she does not have biological children, she is stepmother to Heikki's two children. Assi has participated in limited political activities, notably serving as an electoral college member for her father's presidential campaign in 1982. She is also a competitive weightlifter.
