After her husband's death in 1960, she took over the family business, Strömbergshyttan, where she worked as a designer. Her designs are characterized by classic forms and thick walls with facet cuttings, highlighting the material. Strömberg participated in several exhibitions in the United States and was represented at Hallands museum in 1962. Her work can be found in various museums including Nationalmuseum and institutions in Buenos Aires, New York, Wilmington, and Minneapolis.
