Ati Quigua is a Colombian indigenous activist, politician, and environmentalist from the Arhuaco people, born on April 28, 1980, in Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. She has a degree in public administration and a Master's in Government and Public Policies. Notably, she became the first indigenous city councilor in Colombia in 2004 and served as the first indigenous woman vice president of the Bogotá Council from 2004 to 2011. Her political work focuses on water culture, environmental heritage, food sovereignty, and women's roles in activism. She is also a member of the Colombian Advisory Commission for Peace.
