Dr. Atif Abdelmageed Alamin is a Sudanese born on June 7, 1963, in Khartoum. He serves as the Executive Director of the Arab Scout Region and the Secretary General of the Arab Scout Organization. Appointed in 2006, he was made an advisor to the Secretary General of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 2019. With prior experience managing the Sudanese Scout program, he is also a glider pilot. He studied medicine at Juba University and Penn State University and previously worked for the World Health Organization, residing currently in Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt.
