Atputharajah Nadarajah, known as Ramesh, was a Sri Lankan Tamil journalist and politician active from 1963 to 1999. He served as Chief Editor for Thinamurasu, a Tamil weekly, and was a parliamentary member for Jaffna District representing the Eelam People's Democratic Party. Notably, he criticized his party and endorsed Tamil nationalism and the LTTE, creating conflicts within his party. His life ended tragically when he was shot dead in Colombo along with his driver on November 2, 1999.
