Atte Palokangas, born on October 29, 1981, in Nivala, Finland, is a renowned hard rock and metal drummer. He is best known for his work with bands such as Agonizer, Before the Dawn, Thunderstone, and Beast in Black. Palokangas has also played in the Tiina Sanila Band and several other projects including DreamRealm, Sinity, Frustards, Wreck On, and Among the Prey. In June 2011, he left Before the Dawn due to a shift in their musical style. He joined Thunderstone in February 2014 and Beast in Black in February 2018.
