Auguste Chrétien Joseph Reitsma, known as Guus Reitsma, was a Dutch resistance fighter during World War II. Born on July 26, 1922, in Oegstgeest, he studied law at Leiden University. After the university's closure, he worked at a Dutch insurance company while receiving evening lessons from a friend. From 1941, he became active in the resistance, distributing illegal newspapers and participating in significant operations. Betrayed in 1943, he was captured and executed by the Nazis. He is buried near his friend Sam van Musschenbroek in Overveen.
