Aurealius Thomas was an American football player born on April 6, 1934, in Columbus, Ohio. He played as a guard for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 1956 to 1957 and earned first-team honors on multiple 1957 All-America teams. Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1958, Thomas was released before the season. Following his football career, he worked in education and insurance, eventually starting his own brokerage. Thomas was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1989. He passed away on February 5, 2021.
