Aurora Lacasa is a French singer of Aragonese origin born on March 24, 1947, in Paris. She achieved significant success in the former German Democratic Republic. Raised by Spanish journalist parents, she attended school in Budapest before residing in East Germany from 1957. After completing her education, she trained as a singer and interpreter, performing in various countries including the USSR, Cuba, and several Arab nations. Throughout her career, she released 3 LPs, many singles, and at least 3 CDs, selling around 3 million copies. She was married to fellow singer Thomas Lück and later to Frank Schöbel, with whom she has two daughters.
