Austin Kyle Nola, born on December 28, 1989, is an American professional baseball catcher currently playing for the Kansas City Royals in Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres. Nola made his MLB debut in 2019. He attended Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, followed by Louisiana State University, where he helped win the 2009 College World Series. Nola was drafted by the Miami Marlins in 2012 and transitioned from shortstop to catcher in 2017.
