Avraham Bar-Am (born c. 1933) is a retired Israeli general known for his role in the 1982 Lebanon War as the second in command of Israel's Northern Army Command. He retired in 1984 after a significant military career. In 1986, Bar-Am was one of the individuals indicted in the Brokers of Death arms case concerning a proposed sale of $2 billion worth of U.S.-made Israeli arms to Iran. However, the case was dismissed in 1989, as prosecutors could not demonstrate that the defendants acted without believing their dealings were sanctioned.
