Ayhan Şahenk (June 11, 1929 - April 1, 2001) was a Turkish businessman and the founder of Doğuş Group. He established Doğuş Holding in 1950, leading the company to invest in various sectors including construction, banking, telecommunications, tourism, food, and automotive. In 1992, he founded a non-profit organization aimed at advancing education. Şahenk passed away on April 1, 2001, due to a heart attack. Some of his father's relatives reside outside Turkey, in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Crimea.
