He was active in the fields of religion, history, and politics, publishing numerous articles and books on topics including religions, philosophy, esotericism, and secret organizations. He passed away on November 18, 2013, in Istanbul, and was buried after a funeral ceremony at Şakirin Mosque in Üsküdar on November 19, 2013.
