Azizur Rahman Aziz (January 14, 1944 – October 10, 2023) was a Bangladeshi former secretary, poet, author, novelist, composer, and lyricist. He was widely known as a poet, especially referred to as 'the living poet of this city' among his peers and community. Aziz began writing in 1980, publishing various stories, poems, novels, and songs that gained popularity. He served as the chairman of the trustee board of the Bangladesh National Museum and previously as the chief information commissioner. He was awarded a prestigious fellowship for his contributions to literature in 2021.
