Babken Karapetyan (May 2, 1911 – October 25, 1994) was an Armenian Soviet poet, writer, and journalist born in Alexandrapol, located in the Yerevan Province of the Caucasus Viceroyalty within the Russian Empire. He became a member of the Union of Soviet Writers in 1934 and contributed significantly to Armenian literature through his poetry and prose. His notable works and active participation in the literary community solidified his reputation as an influential figure in Armenian cultural history.
