Babu-Dorzho Mikhaylov (March 12, 1953 – March 6, 2011) was a Soviet and Russian livestock breeder and shepherd with over 30 years of experience. He was a senior shepherd at the Onon production farm and was honored as a Hero of the Russian Federation for bravery and dedication in saving a flock of sheep from a wildfire. He won the award from President Vladimir Putin in 2007. Mikhaylov was also a champion among sheep breeders and won the regional title of 'Person of the Year 2007'. He passed away in Chita.
